It takes 8 years for Koenigsegg to develop and produce their first car in 2002, the Koenigsegg CC. At the same year, Koenigsegg introduced the CC8S and the production last until 2005. In 2004, the CCR was introduced and the car briefly held the record for fastest car in the world, behind Bugatti Veyron, SSC Ultimate Aero TT, and its successor Koenigsegg CCX.
