That thing is known as clutch plate. A brand new one look like this

It has several steps to take it out and get it replaced.

Clutch plate replacement requires some work to open the clutch diaphragm. Price for the clutch plate depends on your engine model.

A standard one if you order from UK Mini Spares it will just 17 GBP which is less than RM100. Add with malaysia tax shouldn't over RM200. The product link here

Another option is try to look for it at local spare parts shop. Don't let them sell you too expensive by saying "This is very rare or come from far away". If Penang do not have it, try to call this super-cheap KL dealer Soon Seng.
No. 41, Jalan Sungai Besi, 57100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Tel: 603-9222 1021, 9222 1022, 9221 3700. Fax: 603-9221 3711

The boss speak good Hokkien and they can mail you the parts you need.

Well, as your mechanic say, just see him when the car stops.

Sometimes you can check the engine oil by yourself early in the morning before start the engine. MAKE SURE THE ENGINE IS NOT HOT.

1. Open the hood.
2. Pull out the dipstick and read the level. If all your car seal is in good condition, the oil level reading should be good.
